I serve as board president of the Wallkill Valley Land Trust. We protect more than 3,000 acres of open space, trails and farms across Gardiner, New Paltz, Rosendale and Ulster — including the 22-mile Wallkill Valley Rail Trail, Joppenbergh Mountain, and the Nyquist-Harcourt Wildlife Sanctuary.
